I have created designs in stained glass for many years, especially since retiring at the end of 2018.  I use the copper-foiling technique, in which the edges of each individual glass piece are wrapped in copper-foil tape (instead of lead came).  These foiled edges are then joined together with solder.

I truly enjoy working with glass—both because of its many colors and the stunning ways it interacts with light.  I am most inspired to design stained-glass pieces to give as gifts, but I would welcome opportunities to create special pieces on request.
