Artist Statement

After years of formal training and a teaching career in art, I began to explore the subtle nuances of my materials. I think I became interested in mark making, and layering and I explored anything that interested me as a topic or a material and played with them all.

What inspires me? Anything and everything... nature... I enjoy telling and developing narratives.. and telling a visual story without words.
