You are invited to submit your application for admission to the
ILLINOIS ART LEAGUE’S “Holiday Art Expo”.
All art must be the original work of the artist.


Submissions will be subject to the approval of the Special Events Committee.

SETUP WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE THE MORNING OF ,

Call for Artists!

  • Applications are submitted online through our electronic form and images are to be submitted via email HERE.
    If you would rather send photos via snail mail, you can send to this address as long as they are received and
    application fee is paid by the end of the registration period. (October 16, 2023):

  • Please read the details carefully prior to applying, including our policy on reproductions, which are not allowed.  

  • Please focus on image requirements before applying to show.  Information on this can be found below.

 

Artist Ammenities

  • Artists retain all proceeds.

  • Booth sitters available for artists during the show.

  • Organized load-in/load-out at booth space.

  • Featured on the Illinois Art League website, Facebook, & Instagram providing great exposure before and after the art show.

  • Full color PDF for advertising will be available to each artist for distribution to their email list.
    Please send these to all of your current customers, friends, family, collectors, etc.
    The more people we invite, the more successful the show will be for everyone!

  • Website gallery with artist's full color, thumbnail image.

Digital Images

  • Three (3) images are to be submitted for each individual media category entered by the artist.

    • Three (3) images (image #1-3) must be of individual pieces of work.

    • Plus one (1) image (image #4) of a display of the artist's work, showing overall continuity and presentation of your current body of work.

  • Image requirements: images must be in 1920 x 1920 pixels. Images must accurately represent the body of the artist's work to be exhibited at the Art Expo.

  • If you are a returning artist, you DO NOT need to send images of your art, providing you are exhibiting the same art media as last year.

 Reproduction Policy

  • All artwork displayed at the Holiday Art Expo must be original and produced entirely by the exhibiting artist(s).  If you are offering your art reproduced on prints or other items, contact us, that will likely be fine.

    Artist Categories

  • New Artist (if you have not exhibited with us before);

  • Artists Applying in a New Medium (if you wish to exhibit work in a medium other than the category you have exhibited with us previously); or

  • Returning Artist

Fees

The application fees are as follows:
Members …………$40 per space
Non-members …... $80 per space
Tables ………………$5 per table
There are No Further Fees, this will serve as the application AND the booth fee.

 Additional Details

  • No Tents are allowed. This is an Indoor event.

  • You will be assigned to a 10’ x 10’ space, please stay within the tape marks.

  • You can supply your own table(s) or rent one for $5 - Please Specify on the form due to limited supply.

  • 2 chairs will be provided at each booth. If you need more than 2, please note it on the application.

  • There will be food for sale (lunch type items, snacks & desserts)
