Drawing has always been my passion and having many opportunities to create art in school just made it grow. After attending the American Academy of Art in Chicago, I worked in retail advertising as a layout and finished artist in Chicago and Peoria for more than 10 years.
In 1967, I retired to be a full time Mom and later took up watercolor painting, entering many shows and receiving various awards. I began teaching workshops and classes in Peoria, Morton and Washington.
I enjoy watercolors as you have so much freedom to allow the water to work for you. I also like to teach and see the excitement of others when they discover the working of the colors in the water.
