Sherri Burritt

 
Sherri had focused mainly in watercolor for 3 decades. Five years ago, she started using oils and has not looked back. “I love the textures I can achieve with oil. When I paint I want my work to convey some type of emotion be it romance, drama, playfulness, or mystery. I try to paint more than just a scene. I want a feeling.”

She has been an Art Director at PJS Publications for several national and international magazines: Crafts, Sew News, Shooting Times, Rotor, Wing, and several Special Issues. As well as, a Freelance Commercial Artist. She has an Associate Degree in Graphic Design.

She has taken many workshops and studied with, Quang Ho, C.W Mundy, Laura Robb, Daniel Gerhartz, Roger Dale Brown, and Elizabeth Robbins.
