Prabhakar K. Bhosale

I was born in India and studied as an Architect. I came to the U.S.A. in 1970 to work as an architect. After working with the Illinois Department of Public Health as Regional Architect for 27 years I retired to become a full time artist. Art was my passion from my childhood. I like to paint in oil, acrylic, pastel and pen. My main subject matter is about people and their life style. I want the viewer of my painting be happy and peaceful. I have published my first book of 198 satirical cartoons, titled as The Bitter Nuts, showing the life of elderly in the nursing homes. I am a self taught artist, and believe the art is beautiful and keeps the record of our history. It helps our young generation for today and tomorrow.
